The best-equipped army cannot save a king,    

nor is great strength enough to save a warrior. 

17 Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory—    

for all its strength, it cannot save you.  

18 But the Lord watches over those who fear him,     those who rely on his unfailing love.

For the word of the Lord holds true,
    and we can trust everything he does.
5 He loves whatever is just and good;

God i renounce every pride, every self-reliance, every doubt, every worry, every anxiety, and ask that Lord you may come and fill me up with your perfect love that cast out all fear. i renounce the fear of failure, the fear of disappointment, for i know that God you are fighting for me, you are the one that gives me the victory, my hope and reliance is not on men, or pastors, or any human wisdom or strength or leadership but it is in you God. Forgive me for the times that I have trusted on my own, and what i think i know how, but ask that Lord you may come and fill me. Make known of your love and plans for me. 

you have loved me with an everlasting love. You will never leave nor forsake me even though i may feell ike it. but i am not my emotions. i am not what my feelings tell me. 

for i trust that you have called me to do this no matter what the outcome may be. 

its not even about competition. its not abnout figthing to see who wins the most. but its your love for your people. i want to see them come in to the house of God to worship you - and not spending their friday nights elsewhere. we would rather be the doorkeeper of your house than dwell in the tents of. the wicked. its not even about the numers. these are your people. these are your children and you love them more than i do. surely the lord has great plans for them - surely the lord will send the right people at the right time to lead and guide these kids. who am i to do this. who am i the least of the least and the most unqualified. they do not necessarily look up to me. they were enjoying the previous season.

there needs to be kingdom alignment and order. 

do not lead them astray. 

oh God i pray for your grace to help me shepherd these people. these people are like lost flocks the girls. 

 I surrender the kids into your hand, the planning, the service, everything come and have your way. Lord. Come and have your way in us and through us. 

Our hope and reliance is in you. Come and make yourself be so present in my life. Fill me with an everlasting joy that will overflow. 

Show and guide me lord.
